Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit and improve your experience.
Essential cookies: Required for the store to function, including cart and checkout-session cookies. The personalisation wizard may also keep your progress temporarily in browser session storage for the current tab; use the visible Clear saved progress control before sharing a device.
Analytics: If an approved analytics receiver is configured, it receives only privacy-safe funnel metadata such as story ID, format and step number. It must not receive names, pronouns, free-text personalisation, delivery details or email addresses.
Affiliate and referral cookies: If you arrive through an approved affiliate link, the affiliate system may use cookies or similar technologies to record referral attribution. They should not store payment details or the personalisation details inside your book.
We use SliceWP to manage affiliate registration, affiliate accounts, referral links, and WooCommerce referral tracking. Affiliate cookies help us recognise which creator, blogger, gift guide, or partner referred a customer, so approved commissions can be reviewed and paid correctly. Cancelled, refunded, fraudulent, chargeback, or self-referral orders do not qualify for commission.
Spice Rating uses browser storage scoped to the app's own origin to keep progress, preferences, saved practice lines, access state and private Flirt Duet seat keys on your device. Unlike a cookie, that browser storage is not automatically sent with every request and remains until an in-app control or your browser's site-data controls remove it. If you choose to sign in to a member account, the app sets an essential HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax account-session cookie for up to 30 days. It is sent to the app origin, marked Secure on HTTPS and cleared when you sign out.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and you should also use any cookie controls shown on our website where available. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the ordering process. Disabling analytics or affiliate cookies should not stop you placing an order, but it may prevent referral attribution from working correctly.
